This page is dedicated to all the little Yorkie babies out there that are the result of breeders that do not care one bit about what they produce, how old they are when they take them from their mothers and who's hearts they break in the process of making that dirty money to line their pockets. Please read the stories below sent to me by the owners of puppies that have had unfortunate heart breaking experiences. Please do your homework before you buy your precious Yorkie baby. |

It has taken me some time to be able to sit down and write Bo's story. Needless to say, we were not only devastated by his loss but were also appalled by the treatment we received by the breeder we purchased Bo from. When I first contacted the breeder in Oregon regarding Bo's condition, she insisted I send him back immediately. She stated it would be stupid to try and save him. Due to Bo's state of health, that was out of the question. She told me if I did not send him back to her (on a very long flight from Chicago to Oregon in the dead of winter), she would not be held responsible in any way for Bo. As you know, Bo died that night. When I emailed the breeder with the bad news she said some very horrible things to me. She accused me of lying, being dishonest, doubted it was her pup, said I was out to get her and ruin her reputation. She showed no compassion or care. She insisted on a necropsy and until she received proof that Bo was truly dead she would not refund my purchase price. It was a horrible experience to say the least. Not only was I dealing with the loss of Bo, I had to deal with his breeder and her behavior was totally uncalled for. I was heartbroken and she was acting like this. I was speechless that any person with claims of their love for animals could behave like this. I thought I knew this woman, but I apparently I was so wrong. She did finally refund the purchase price of Bo. However the money was NEVER the issue and it in no way will ever make up for our loss. At
this point, I must caution you to PLEASE do your research prior to purchasing
from a breeder. Be sure to get a signed purchase agreement and know
exactly what your rights are and what health guarantee the breeder
provides. Never be too trustworthy! Visit Bo's Page and Pedigree HERE. |

Sarah's Sherman Hello, I am Sherman, I am a Liver Shunt Baby. I came from a Yorkie breeder in Florida. If it was not for the help I got from my mom and the Terri Shumsky Fanny Mae Liver Shunt Fund, I would not be here. The surgery I was able to get saved my life. Please help us stop these bad breeders from continuing to breed parents like mine that make sick puppies like me. Read all of my story HERE |
